Spiders are air-breathing arthropods having 8 legs and chelicerae with fangs that inject venom. They are considered to be largest order of arachnids and overall rank 7th in total species among all other group of organisms.

They are found worldwide on every continent except Antarctica and have established their habitat in every part of world except of air and sea colonization. As of 2008, approximately 40,000 spider species and around 109 families have been recorded by taxonomists.
